Published on Tue, 04/10/2022 - 11:52

We’re delighted to announce that Masterclass Four in our 2022 Leadership Masterclass Series will take place on 27 October 2022 (9-11am) at Google, Pancras Square, London.

This is an opportunity to spend time with renowned speaker Professor Alex Edmans, Professor of Finance, London Business School, and Sean McGovern, CEO, UK & Lloyd’s markets, AXA XL, as they explore the links between achieving profit and purpose in a sustainable and value-driven way, so that all stakeholders benefit, and reputational risk is effectively managed.

This in-depth fireside chat will examine key themes across all aspects of ESG amidst an ever changing and turbulent backdrop for business, answering questions such as ‘Is People, Profit and Planet’ achievable? How do you keep an organisation on track and true to its values when being buffeted by several headwinds of change? Is it possible to balance the needs of all internal and external stakeholders effectively all of the time? How do you engage your people effectively to achieve high performance, productivity and business success?

Designed as two-hour interactive breakfast-style sessions and held in person at distinctive London venues, each Masterclass is led by a panel of leading speakers offering members a deep dive into leadership themes such as Acting Ethically, Thinking Strategically, Performing Commercially, Building Agility, and Developing Leadership, all through a risk and insurance lens, and with a keen eye on the current and future business environment. Opportunities for networking are also included.

The Leadership Masterclass Series is free to attend as part of Airmic membership. Although it is targeted at those in senior positions, the Masterclass Series is open to all Airmic members, including those who want to develop key leadership behaviours early.
