Lloyd’s of London has teamed up with Airmic for another field trip to take place on 26 October.

Airmic has teamed up with Lloyd’s to provide a new one-day field trip programme, free for members. Airmic members will be able to visit the Lloyd’s Building in the City of London at One Lime Street, London EC3M 7HA.

Join Keith Stern, Lloyd’s Regional Manager, UK & Ireland, and representatives from the Corporation of Lloyd’s and the Lloyd’s market on a field trip to the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance marketplace.

“Together with our customers, business partners and communities all over the world, we are building a braver future – one that is more sustainable, resilient and inclusive,” Lloyd’s said.

The field trip will include:

  • A visit to the Underwriting Room and a tour of the landmark building designed by Sir Richard Rogers
  • Learning about Lloyd’s commitment to embed the ESG agenda at the heart of its market
  • Finding out about Blueprint Two (Future at Lloyd’s) and what Lloyd’s is doing to transform claims to unlock digital benefits which will enhance functionality, reduce the central processing time for claims and provide greater transparency for customers and experts with faster agreement and settlement
  • A visit to the Lloyd’s Lab and meeting with insurtechs and underwriters who will provide dynamic and interactive live demos of solutions, products and new innovations designed to better serve customer needs.

“Creative and innovative in their design, field trips offer Airmic members the exclusive opportunity to explore in-depth key operations at chosen organisations in environments that might be less familiar to them and the opportunity to experience the work of organisations pushing the boundaries of innovation,” said Adam Ireland, Head of Learning, Airmic.

“Field trips are also great for networking with fellow professionals and boosting CPD hours,” Adam added.
