Tremendous demand for Airmic board vacancies

Airmic is "delighted" by the "quality and quantity" of applicants for its four board vacancies advertised last month, its CEO John Ludlow has said.

"There has been huge interest in the positions, from people with a wide range of backgrounds. It's fantastic to see that our members are so engaged and want to take a leading role."

There is still time to apply; the closing date for applications is Friday 22 February, after which Airmic's Executive Committee will consider a short list to take to the interview stage. The successful applicants will be announced in April.

Directors meet four times a year to determine Airmic's strategy and oversee its delivery by the Airmic team. They also typically provide the leadership of Airmic's various committees and help create and develop key market relationships.

John Ludlow said last month that the successful applicants "will have the chance to shape the future of our professions at a level that isn't possible in their day jobs."
