2018 Airmic Academy brochure

Airmic has launched its new Academy Programme for 2018, featuring five workshop categories which target the learning needs of members at all stages in their careers - whether new to the profession or a seasoned risk leader.

The programme features more than 60 CPD-accredited workshops, covering everything from the core principles and practices of risk and insurance management; to full-day events, geared towards strengthening engagement with executive management and the board.

The 13th edition of the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2018 will launch this month.

Drawing on the perspectives of experts and global decision-makers, the report will highlight the most significant long-term risks worldwide, including economic, geopolitical, societal, technological, and environmental threats.

Following the report’s launch, Mark Weil, Chief Executive Officer, Marsh UK & Ireland; and John Scott, Chief Risk Officer for Commerical Insurance at Zurich Insurance Group, will join Airmic in a special webinar to review the global risks and discuss what they mean for members.
