The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has appointed Jonathan Clark as interim CEO with immediate effect. He takes over from Sian Fisher, who is stepping down on 31 March 2022 after more than six years at the helm.

A former president of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA), Jonathan takes over at the CII from Sian Fisher, who is stepping down on 31 March 2022 after more than six years at the helm. He has been an insurance claims professional throughout his career, mostly recently as global head of claims for business solutions for SCOR. His professional work has focussed on business interruption and financial loss exposures. Within the CII, he has been treasurer and chair of the faculty of claims. He will remain in  post with the CII until the permanent CEO is in place, a process which is underway.
