  • Manage landlord insurance queries and premium vetting for all Ladbrokes Coral shops, ensuring landlord premiums are valid and accurate.
  • Manage contact with internal stakeholders, landlords, agents, brokers and solicitors.
  • Manage global data collation for insurance programmes including managing queries / issues from Insurers/brokers.
  • Arrange reconciliation and payment of escrow and/or bordereaux for claims outsourcers.
  • Appoint and brief claims outsourcer on new claims as appropriate.
  • Act as point of contact for all Ladbrokes Coral employees on insurance matters, particularly on new and follow up claims.
  • Act as point of contact for employers and public liability claims outsourcer and incident investigation.
  • Act as point of contact for property claims outsourcer.
  • Road traffic accidents - act as point of contact for Ladbrokes Coral Company car drivers, providing advice as required.
  • Support and assist audit/performance review of claims outsourcers.
  • Review, respond and assist with survey reports undertaken by Insurers to ensure adequate responses given to Insurers and that adequate resources are provided to protect the Group’s assets.
  • Provide ad hoc support on all insurance matters as required.

Key accountabilities:

  • Support Head of Insurance in developing and maintaining optimum insurance programme for the Group
  • Support the preparation of premium allocation and recharges to Operating Companies on a Group Global basis
  • Support to Head of Insurance in responding to queries on policy coverage from all operating companies worldwide
  • Support the review of policy coverage globally and prepare the register of insurance policy coverage details to operating companies
  • Support the Commercial Claims Manager in developing the claims programme
  • Collation and analysis of claims data for review by Commercial Claims Manager and distribution
  • Maintain insurance database and online filing system and ensure up to date
  • Deal with day to day enquiries
  • Deputise for colleagues as required
  • Develop internal relationships with teams to promote insurance
  • Good knowledge of general insurance.

Must be a member of relevant professional body. Cert CII or progress with CII study is an advantage.

Min 3 years commercial experience required within a similar role. Proven administration and typing skills. Good communication skills. Ability to prioritise work activities and work on own initiative. Numerate. Proficient in Word / Excel / Powerpoint.
