First-of-its-kind course will take place in January; a few spaces remain

Airmic members are being offered a unique opportunity to join an intensive three-day bootcamp on data and analytics, designed to equip risk professionals with the knowledge and skills to have a more impactful role within their own businesses and the wider risk and insurance industry.

The bootcamp, hosted by Fujitsu, is for eight members and four Airmic partners and will provide an intimate and collaborative learning environment. It will take place in London on the 27-29 January 2020. It is free for members.

The bootcamp has been designed in response to members who report they wish to deepen their understanding of data and analytics, topics which are growing both in complexity and importance.

By the end of the course, participants can expect to have: the ability to articulate the subject with peers, boardrooms and business partners; a greater understanding of the business relationship between supplier and buyer; practical insight into how data is being used in risk and insurance; action points and next steps to apply to their risk role.

The agenda is below. The course hours are 10am - 4pm to allow for travel. Spaces are extremely limited; members interested should contact Julia Graham at Julia.graham@airmic.com.
