More than 500 risk and insurance managers from across Europe and nearly 1000 other risk professionals have already registered for the 2019 FERMA Forum in Berlin.

The event on 17-20 November has risk managers attending from Germany, The Netherlands and Italy, as well as the rest of Europe and beyond.  Registration for the Forum is free for risk and insurance managers.

The Forum programme highlights two topics, digital transformation and sustainability, with workshops and other sessions on subjects including social media, political risks and environmental, social and governance risks (ESG).

FERMA’s workshop Protectionism, nationalism and fragmentation: setting risk appetite in a complex trade environment will be moderated by Julia Graham, Airmic’s Technical Director. This session considers what triggers a revision of the company’s risk appetite and how the topic is addressed between the board, executive management and the risk management function.

Three important new reports will be released at the Forum: Artificial Intelligence Applied to Risk Management; Controlling the Digital Risk: The Trust Advantage; and GDPR and Corporate Governance: The Role of Internal Audit and Risk Management One Year After Implementation.
