Insurance Charities Awareness Day goes virtual

The Insurance Charities, which provides help and support to those working in the insurance sector in the UK and Ireland, will hold its Awareness Day online on Wednesday, 24 June.

In 2019/20 the charity awarded £1.7 million in assistance to insurance, and insurance related employees and their families.

The Awareness Day is being organised to raise awareness of the support it provides and how to get involved. The day will include a webinar, and a Supporter Toolkit is available to download here including the campaign’s key objectives and messages and collateral for social media posts.

“This year we want to particularly reach those working in HR teams in the industry to make them aware of the work we do and highlight how we can support their employees. We hope you can help us to achieve this,” the Insurance Charities said in a statement.

“The current situation has shown us all how unforeseen events can have a huge impact on lives including jobs and finances. As a result, our charity's help may now be needed more than ever in the coming weeks and months.”
