Four vacancies on Airmic Board
Members invited to apply
Airmic is seeking to appoint four new boardroom directors and is inviting its members to apply.
Directors meet four times a year to determine Airmic’s strategy and oversee its delivery by the Airmic Secretariat. They also typically provide the leadership of Airmic's various committees and help create and develop key market relationships.
John Ludlow, who was himself a non-executive director before becoming CEO, said the positions would appeal to experienced members with a desire to influence the risk and insurance professions:
"Airmic has a huge influence in the risk and insurance communities, as well as in wider business networks. The business environment is changing rapidly and our mission - to improve the resilience, sustainability and success of our members' businesses - has never been more relevant.
He added: "The board vacancies are an exciting opportunity for anyone who wishes to be at the heart of that mission. The successful applicants will have the chance to shape the future at a level that isn’t possible in their day jobs. It’s incredibly rewarding."
