Airmic Fest, the UK's largest ever risk and insurance virtual conference, will be held 22 - 24 September, and members can now get a first look of the programme and knowledge streams.

Susi Ozkurt, Event Manager at Airmic, has launched the site for the much-anticipated event, with registration to open 22 July. Visit the site here.

"While it was a huge disappointment to cancel the Edinburgh conference for 2020, the Airmic team, our membership and partners have embraced Airmic Fest and producing this ground-breaking virtual conference is a really exciting challenge," Ms Ozkurt tells Airmic News.

"Our members rate quality learning and knowledge sharing high and it is one of the reasons the Airmic conference receives consistently excellent feedback. With this in mind, we have been delighted to see so many of our partners keen to proceed with their workshops and help us put together a really strong educational programme."

As well as the educational content, there will be a Festival Floor, which replaces the exhibition hall members are familiar with from the annual conference, and a wellness centre for early morning yoga, fitness challenges and talks on mental health and general wellbeing.

Headline panels on Tuesday and Wednesday morning will begin days full of on-demand sessions with live Q&As, while delegates will also be able to access the Knowledge Hub where they will have access to 20-minute bite-sized presentations, based on thought leadership, life skills, technology and captives.

Four live seminars are offered on Thursday with panels addressing hot topics including: lessons learned from the pandemic, catastrophe risk financing, future gazing what next after the transition period when the UK leaves the EU customs union and single market, and creating a risk management framework for managing reputation.

Airmic Fest is open to all and will be free to attend for Airmic members and sponsors, while other professionals with risk responsibilities - including finance, business continuity, security, technology and facilities professionals, internal auditors, company secretaries and general counsel - are also encouraged to attend at a reduced ticket price from £395 to just £199 plus VAT. Visit the site here.
