The three-day virtual festival will be held 22 – 24th September and will include of webinars, bite-sized HUB sessions, high-profile speakers, panel debates and online networking opportunities. A festival floor will provide an interactive space for exhibitors to showcase their products and services.
The online event will be free to attend for all Airmic members.
“We are all incredibly excited about Airmic Fest,” said John Ludlow, Airmic CEO. “These are really challenging times for the risk community and the UK generally, so we wanted to do something bold, new and positive.”
The high take-up of Airmic’s digital offerings, including the popular Airmic LIVE series and Academy webinars, encouraged the Association to organise the festival as large-scale industry events do not take place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Airmic Fest will adopt the Association’s theme for 2020, Working Together.
“One of the welcome consequences of the pandemic crisis has been our members’ fantastic adoption of virtual networking and learning,” Mr Ludlow added. “We have seen record online attendance of events and – even more importantly – we have reached new audiences around the UK and beyond. Airmic Fest is the opportunity to consolidate this progress.”
Programme details and information on how non-members can attend will be released in the coming months.
