Airmic has announced its annual member dinner, originally due to take place on 24 November, will be cancelled due to ongoing social restrictions and the uncertain outlook for the winter months.
Writing to the membership and partners Airmic CEO John Ludlow said he regretted the decision in difficult circumstance but that as a membership organisation it is the Association’s responsibility to put the safety of the community first.
“The Annual Member Dinner has in previous years marked such a pleasant opportunity for the membership and partners to meet up, network and socialise with each other in relaxed surroundings however, we are exploring ideas on how the 2021 Airmic Dinner might be secured as we recover from the crisis,’ he added.
“We are also currently in the process of planning how we will run membership events in 2021 to give greater personal engagement between parties – physical or otherwise – using the feedback and ideas we received and generated from our recent Airmic Fest virtual conference.”
