Airmic's second ever ERM Forum attracted over 150 risk professionals to learn about and debate topics from risk appetite to data analytics.

Delegates were challenged on their influencing skills, digital understanding and approach to diversity.

Meanwhile, communication and collaboration were the themes of the day, aptly summed up by Amanda Mellor, group secretary and head of corporate governance at M&S, in her address to delegates:

“It is critical that we facilitate effective risk conversations…we need a clearer purpose and common understanding of what risk is and we need to make it accessible…Building your networks internally and externally is key.”
