The objective of Airmic Friday Reading was initially to keep members informed during the Covid-19 pandemic. This Consultation Paper is most relevant to public and private organisations that currently use or may consider using captive insurance, captive managers and other outsourced service providers, corporate risk managers, as well as insurance and reinsurance intermediaries. The consultation closes on 14 October 2026 – with implementation expected in mid-2027, when the PRA publishes its final rules and policy material.
