Academy Workshop: Electric Vehicles – It’s not just about batteries

Electric vehicles have been in use in various functions for some time, providing insight and understanding of how they can positively enhance and impact an organisation’s operations. 

The session will highlight the additional mitigation measures that need to be considered and implemented to provide the required protection to property, drivers, and other road users.

It will also explore the different approaches that vehicle manufacturers are currently developing to mitigate risks associated with electric vehicles, and provide insight into some of the emerging risks and opportunities for commercial fleet operators and their customers.

On the agenda, we will discuss:

-    Current risks with Electric Vehicles from a Property, Motor and Liability perspective
-    New prevention strategies manufacturers are implementing to mitigate risk
-    Insight on emerging risks and opportunities to business operations 
-    Consideration of alternative fuels
