Risk leaders must deepen tech knowledge to stay relevant, says Airmic’s head of learning

As the pace of technological change grows ever faster, risk professionals must double down on efforts to stay on top of the latest developments, according to Adam Ireland, Airmic’s head of learning.

“For risk professionals, staying abreast of tech trends and the associated risks and opportunities is non-negotiable in today’s world,” he said.

“We find that one of the key challenges our members face is keeping up with the latest thinking when the tech environment is changing so fast. Everything you thought you knew just six months ago needs to be continually re-assessed.”

Airmic has launched its Technology Frontiers Leadership Masterclass double header – a two-part deep dive into AI and quantum computing, designed to provide senior members and future risk leaders with a forward-looking perspective on how to navigate the latest technological changes and strengthen organisational resilience.

“After attending this course, members will be able to take back to their boardrooms the latest thinking on these critical subjects. We’ve designed both events to be highly interactive, with conversational formats and  in-depth discussions with industry specialists,” said Ireland.
