Airmic chair joins FERMA board

Congratulations to Airmic’s chairman, Richard Hoult, who has been elected to the FERMA board.

The Federation of 23 risk management associations, including Airmic, represents the European risk profession’s interests globally, and promotes cohesion through shared knowledge and practices.

Hoult, whose term as Airmic chair ends this xxx, said he wants to be a part of FERMA to pursue the objective of ‘collaboration without borders’.

“I firmly believe in the ‘Stronger Together’ strategic vision. Through the collective knowledge of members and partners for all associations, including Airmic, it should help our members to get ahead of the curve in managing risk rather than simply reacting to it,” he said.

Commenting on the election, FERMA’s president, Philippe Cotelle, said the Board represents a combination of expertise, leadership and experience across the risk management sector:

“Their collective insight and commitment enable us to shape the future of the profession, amplify the voices of our member associations, and champion the value of risk management across Europe and on the international stage.”
