Airmic’s annual fastTrack Forum takes place on 15 October, hosted by WTW. Tailored for Airmic members who are new to the profession or in the early phase of their career, the sessions are designed to equip delegates with practical takeaways for professional development, leadership and personal growth.
The afternoon programme includes an unfiltered fireside chat between experienced risk and insurance leaders, reflecting on the risks, lessons and opportunities they’ve made during their careers.
Other sessions will focus on decision making, scenarios, professional identity and dealing with high-pressured environments. The see the full programme, speaker list and to sign up, click here.
Oli France is a British adventurer and explorer, specialising in journeying through the world’s wildest places. Over the past 15 years, he has experienced extremes and adversity: facing earthquakes, avalanches, interrogators, spies and dehydration.
Through his adventures, France has learned what it takes to motivate and lead high-performing teams towards the toughest goals and through the harshest environments.
As fastTrack’s keynote speaker, France will share his leadership lessons from operating in high-risk environments, where calm decision-making, intensive planning, open communication and understanding the human factor within a team is critical.
Participants will examine how leaders navigate uncertainty, prioritise action and build trust when conventional decision-making frameworks break down. This session will give techniques to foster strong leadership, resilience and agility as well as discussing how to approach ethical risk-taking under pressure.
