Field Trip to National Grid

Begin the day with an overview of Grain and how the world-class facility delivers the highest standards of performance and services vital to meeting the UK’s energy demand. You will then go on an exclusive full-site tour which will include a visit to the LNG storage tanks, each larger than the Royal Albert Hall, and a visit to the marine jetties with cryogenic lines. In the afternoon we will finish with a session to provide an overview of National Grid and its pivotal role in enabling the UK’s transition to clean energy, as well as how the group manages its insurable risks.

This site is within easy reach in Kent off the A228 between Lower Stoke and Grain villages.
