Hot on the heels of a very successful first Leadership Masterclass in March, we’ 're delighted to announce our speakers for Masterclass Two in this year’s Leadership Masterclass Series – ‘Building a Sustainable Organisation’ – taking place on 17 May 2023 (9-11 am) at The Royal Society of Medicine, London.
Mark Boult, Director and Risk Management Consultant, will be in conversation with globally renowned sustainability expert Professor John Elkington, Founder of Volans and Visiting Professor at Cranfield University, and Irem Yerdelen, Partner, Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change, ERM.
Faced with the growing reputational risk of inaction or inertia over their impact on the global and/or local environment, organisations are under increasing pressure to address their ESG commitments. During an interactive fireside chat, Mark, John and Irem will explore the key ingredients required for a successful global sustainability movement, the part organisations and their leaders can play in it, and the links between sustainability and long-term sustainable business success.
Taking place at The Royal Society of Medicine, London, and sponsored by ERM, Masterclass Two will offer Airmic members a deep dive into the latest thinking on sustainability and its critical links with effective risk management.
As the largest global pure-play sustainability consultancy, ERM partners with the world’s leading organisations, creating innovative solutions to sustainability challenges and unlocking commercial opportunities that meet the needs of today while preserving opportunity for future generations. ERM works with corporate and financial industry clients to deliver a range of services that help them address strategic, tactical and operational opportunities and risks arising from ESG factors. ERM’s intention is to give clients greater comfort in understanding and managing their risks, and realising returns on capital, while improving their sustainability aspirations.
