Airmic's PR consultant Mark Baylis is leaving his post. CEO John Hurrell

"Everyone at Airmic will be very sorry to see Mark Baylis heading off, nobody more than me!

"Mark has been the consistent external voice of Airmic for over a decade, during which time he has seen the comings and goings of Chairmen and even Chief Executives!  During this time, the issues which Airmic have faced have remained similar but the capability which we have developed to address these issues has been transformed.

"During my period with Airmic, Mark has broadened the range of publications who have developed a close interest in Airmic and, in particular, the output from our research programme.  Through Mark's involvement, we are regular contributors to the FT, the London Evening Standard and most recently, the Times through the Raconteur supplements.  We also regularly appear in articles in the professional publications read by company secretaries, company directors and finance directors.

"It has been a great pleasure working with Mark so closely in the last few years. He is a true professional and a great friend."

We have benefitted from Mark's wealth of experience gained throughout a lifetime in media, journalism and broadcasting. Fortunately for Airmic, Mark unwittingly put in place his own succession plan over a quarter of a century ago in preparation for just this moment and we are very pleased to welcome onto the team Mark's daughter, Jessica Titherington as our new PR Officer!

I would like to wish Mark a fantastic retirement and a very warm welcome to Jessica who is joining the team from the beginning of August."
