"fastTrack foundation" training workshops launched

fastTrack, the recently-formed section for Airmic members new to risk management, is taking bookings for the first five of its foundation workshops.  The series covers insurance risk management, and is intended to leave people more confident about their work, especially in their dealings with brokers, insurers and claims handlers.

The workshops will cover the following areas:

• Principles of Insurance
• Admin of Insurance programmes
• Structure and placement of programmes
• Insurance contracts
• Claims

Anyone interested in attending should contact georgina.wainwright@airmic.co.uk. Priority will be given to those who have already registered with fastTrack. Any Airmic member new to risk management can do so, including older professionals who have come to the discipline mid-career.

A second series – an introduction to Enterprise Risk Management – will open later this year. The foundation series hopes to create a comfortable atmosphere were delegates are able to ask any questions and discuss their own experiences.
