fastTrack unveils details of conference plans for members

fastTrack, the new Airmic section for members who are relatively new to risk management, has unveiled plans for the association’s annual conference, including a reception, seminar and ‘fastTrack Zone’.

As well as access to the whole event, fastTrackers will have their own welcome drinks in the exhibition hall on the opening night. In addition, the upper balcony of the exhibition hall will be a dedicated fastTrack zone. Among other things, there will be opportunities to learn how fastTrack can assist them and, specifically, to engage with the association’s mentoring scheme.

On Wednesday morning, there will be a fastTrack seminar entitled "Getting ahead in Risk and Insurance: Lessons from the top". This will be an opportunity to quiz senior figures from across the industry on the following:

• Their career milestones
• What helped them excel in the field
• Key trends in recruitment for the industry
• The future role of the CRO and CEO
• What can the next generation do to match this role

The Panel:

• Kate Wallin - Senior Insurance Manager, Marriott Hotels Group and Airmic fastTracker will be chairing
• John Ludlow - SVP Global Risk Management, Intercontinental Hotels Group
• David Ross - CEO, Arthur J Gallagher
• David Carr - Managing Partner, Idex
