Airmic website usage at record levels

Improvements to the Airmic website seem to be bearing fruit, to judge by the latest download statistics, which show a year-on-year increase of 12.5% in the number of visits.

The total number of visits is now above 1,000 a week for the first time, with a 38% increase in average duration, suggesting that people who come to the site find it a more rewarding experience.

There was considerable demand for all the technical documents unveiled at the annual conference, especially the Reservation of Rights guide (836 downloads during June) and the report on the changing role of the risk manager (302 downloads).

The biggest draw continues to be this publication, however, with nearly 1600 people gaining access to the June edition of Airmic News via the site. This represents an increase of more than 100% since the start of the year.

Airmic, however, believes there is potential for further growth in usage of www.airmic.com, as more and more people become acquainted with its enhanced content and improved usability.
