Former rugby internationals Ugo Monye (pictured) and Nathan Hines will discuss risk, strategy and corporate culture in a keynote Fireside Chat with broadcaster Jill Douglas at the Airmic Conference, in Liverpool.

Speaking at 9.30 – 10.15am on Tuesday, 7 June, the Gallagher ambassadors will provide a unique perspective on teamwork, the value of individuals recognising their role within a team and working towards a common goal.

The Fireside Chat completes a compelling line-up of keynote speakers, which also includes Britain’s most famous Paralympian Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson speaking on Monday, 6 June and a discussion with Sir Richard Shirreff, former Deputy Supreme Commander Europe for NATO, on Wednesday, 8 June from 2.15 – 2.45pm.

“Elite sportsmen and women always provide a fresh perspective on corporate culture, teamwork and risk, so we are delighted to be joined by Baroness Tanni, Ugo and Nathan in Liverpool,” said Susi Ozkurt, Airmic’s Event Manager.

“Meanwhile, our Fireside Chat with Sir Richard Shirreff will be a timely opportunity for delegates to hear from a real authority on Russia and geopolitical developments.”

ESG HUB

For the first time at the conference, delegates will be able to visit as ESG HUB, which will be located inside the exhibition hall.

The HUB will feature 20-minute presentations from Airmic partners on Environmental, Social and Governance topics as it becomes increasingly prominent within the boardroom, as well as to risk professionals.

The full programme of ESG HUB sessions can be viewed here, and pre-booking is not required.
