CYBER INCIDENTS THE TOP RISK FOR 2024, AIRMIC MEMBERS SAY

13th February 2024

Cyber incidents – including ransomware attacks – continue to be the top risk for 2024 for the organisations that Airmic members work for and who Airmic represent.

The increasing complexity and connectivity of risk and the escalating velocity of change has a knock-on effect on cyber risk,” said Julia Graham, CEO, Airmic. “I’m not surprised to see cyber risk continue to top risk polls.  We need to collectively tackle the cyber risk and insurance protection gap as a matter of priority.

This was the result of the inaugural Airmic Big Question last week.

Real-time monitoring of risks is more important than ever,” said Hoe-Yeong Loke, Head of Research at Airmic. “The weekly Airmic Big Question will take the pulse on what’s front-of-mind for risk professionals.

If you would like to request an interview and or have any questions, please let me know.

We will be sharing the results of the Airmic Big Question with the press weekly.
