Three senior risk managers are joining the Airmic board after what chief executive John Hurrell described as an “extraordinary response” to a request for volunteers.
The new members are Tracey Skinner, Director, Insurance and Risk Financing at BT; Lesley Harding, Vice President, Insurance Risk Solutions at BP International Limited; Claire Combes, Head of Risk and Internal Audit at Intu Properties, plc.
“As well as welcoming Tracey, Lesley and Claire to the board, I would like to thank all those who offered their services. The number and quality of members who came forward was unprecedented in my experience, and shows the strength in depth within the Airmic membership,” said Hurrell.
Claire Combes
Claire Combes said “I have been a staunch supporter of Airmic for over ten years, and I believe that my different background and experience will add to the diversity of the Board’s thinking. I am really looking forward to the contribution that I can make in my time in office.”
Lesley Harding
Lesley Harding said “Joining the Airmic Board is my opportunity to ‘give something back’ to the insurance industry which has provided me with a really fulfilling career. I’m looking forward to supporting the organisations aim of developing the next generation of industry professionals.”
Tracey Skinner
Tracey Skinner said “I am delighted to join the Board of AIRMIC and have the opportunity to shape the future of the Organisation to serve the ever changing demands of the member community.”
