Members are being urged to take part in FERMA’s Europe-wide on-line survey of risk managers. It is the biggest exercise of its kind, and now in its eighth edition. UK-based risk managers have in the past been among the survey’s most enthusiastic participants, with more than 170 responding last year.
Although the latest questionnaire is longer than before, FERMA has agreed to a request from Airmic to change the format so that respondents may choose only those sections or individual questions that they regard as relevant to themselves. Now that it is easier and quicker, anyone who started but did not complete the exercise is asked to do so. The deadline is May 26th.
“The survey is the widest expression of the views of risk and insurance managers across Europe, and the insights it provides are useful in all sports of different ways. I hope that our members will contribute in large numbers as they have done in the past,” said Airmic CEO John Hurrell.
FERMA president Jo Willaert, said: "The world is changing rapidly and is certainly different since the last survey in 2014. Gathering up-to-date data and evidence will provide valuable information for risk and insurance managers in their companies and will contribute to the visibility of the profession.”
Anyone who takes part will automatically go into a prize draw. The results will be published as the FERMA European Risk and Insurance Report at its seminar on 3-4 October in Malta. FERMA represents risk management associations throughout Europe.
