The entry deadline for the Risk Management Award, being presented by Airmic at this year’s British Insurance Awards, has been extended to Thursday 9 April.
The award is open to any risk manager or risk management team involved in designing and implementing an enterprise risk management programme or insurance programme. Airmic chair Helen-Clare Pope will be on the judging panel alongside Julia Graham, president of the Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA) and incoming technical director at Airmic.
The annual event typically attracts over 2000 industry big hitters, and has been described as the “Oscars of the British insurance industry”. Pope has encouraged Airmic members to consider entering for the award: “If you feel that you, a colleague or your team deserve recognition, then the awards are a fun way to showcase those achievements,” she said last month.
