Four Steps to Stop Languishing & Own Your Day

Each day feels like Groundhog Day yet our emotional, mental and physical energy are rarely the same from one day to the next.

It's helpful to label how we're feeling and Adam Grant wrote in the NY Times that the phase we are in today is one of #languishing.

We are neither depressed nor flourishing.

What can we do?!

A simple approach I use every day to stop me from languishing is Checking My Buckets. I feel more in control of my energy and mood. I've weathered the rougher days better and I've even smashed a few days along the way. I've developed new rituals to set myself up for the day, to Check My Buckets, Deploy My Buckets and Replenish My Buckets.

Whatever my purpose to the day, I feel more confident now than ever that I can find me way to achieving it.
