Risk is driving and shaping people practices more than ever before. Anticipating and effectively managing an organisation’s people risks are critical to building trust, organisational resilience and sustained business success.
People risk is a multifaceted area covering a broad variety of issues including: well-being and resilience, talent management, upskilling, reskilling, diversity and inclusion, physical safety and more recently the focus on workforce agility. The need for effective people risk management is core to every organisation.
We will explore what is meant by people risk in relation to the different roles within an organisation and their impact on influencing risk and insurance. Understanding some of the headwinds faced by risk managers and what can be done to address these.
