VIRTUAL: fastTrack - Intangible risks, insurance products and solutions

22nd November 2022 10:00 – 11:00

Register here for this live-streamed webinar session.

Intangible risks are often characterised as simply intellectual property, computer software, or databases, which remain the core industry understanding of the definition.

In recent years, however, organisations are increasingly giving greater thought to their human capital, organisational culture, supplier and distributor relationships, and reputation under this heading as well. In the context of heightened socio-political pressure on firms, and a tight labour market resulting in the so-called “Great Resignation” organisations must plan to protect these core assets, either through robust processes, systems, and incentives or through the use of appropriate insurance products.

Within this session, representatives from Liberty Speciality Markets will cover two aspects of intangible risks:
- Firstly, emerging intangible risks associated with Talent and Hybrid Working practices. This will include an overview of key risk causes/consequences, insurance implications, and an overview of how regulators are responding to such risks.
- Secondly, an overview of insurance product development for some of the more traditional intangible asset risks to businesses, such as cyber, intellectual property and reputation risk. This will be provided in the context of the changes brought by a challenged global economy and post-covid world.
