What you’ll be doing:

In this role you will manage a budget in excess of £10m for placement of an insurance programme commensurate with the business risk profile and manage claims arising across the programme As part of your role you will act as a technical specialist and support and advise the business on all matters related to insurance ; the Insurance team is a ‘support service’ and prompt effective responses to assist the business in general and in particular front line colleagues undertake their jobs, is critical. As our Group Insurance Manager you will support and advise on risk control activities across the business in all areas of insurance cover e.g. Motor , Public liability Employers liability , property Damage and an Owner Controlled Insurance Programme ( not an exclusive list ) to ensure losses/c; are avoided . Anglian Water also owns a Captive Insurance Company which you will manage and advise on its strategic purpose.

• An ACII – Associate Chartered Institute of Insurance
• Insurance buying/negotiating experience
• Experience in Management of Outsourced services
• Risk Control Skills
• Communication skills at all levels
