An exciting new opportunity has become available within our Risk and Insurance team for a talented individual who has a genuine interest in this field of work. The role will be based in London at our Head Office.
Your role will be to support the Assistant Risk Manager with business continuity and risk management. You will also be supporting the team by producing quality data to help them effectively manage risk within the business. There is a real opportunity to grow in this role and whilst you will initially be learning about the business you will have the opportunity to be a key point of contact in all risk matters. In return for your dedication and hard work we offer a competitive salary and benefits.In your role, you will produce the tools with which business managers can achieve cost savings. You’ll also monitor risk and insurance KPIs, helping third party companies to resolve claims swiftly by taking the initial stages of claims and delegating them properly to external company contacts As part of the wider Risk and Insurance team you will work on the loss prevention programme with a view to reducing cost exposures and provide quality data and processes to operations to support them in effectively managing risk. In addition, you will be measuring the effective control statistics on a monthly basis to produce reports on risk exposures and the related cost implications.
You should ideally have a risk management qualification but this is flexible. You should certainly have a good standard of education most notably in Mathematics at minimum A Level or equivalent. We also need you to have excellent Excel Skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
