ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:

General Technical Support

  • Acts as a first point of contact within the Group Insurance team for day to day insurance queries.
  • Liaison with brokers, insurers and other related key service providers.  
  • Provide general technical support and advice to business units worldwide, including reviewing the insurance provisions of customer and supplier contracts.
  • Review and distribution of insurance documentation, including production and issue of evidence of insurance documents.
  • Respond to routine internal / external queries.
  • Maintenance of key insurance information (e.g. policy documentation, renewal files, Intranet site etc.).
  • Support audit and compliance programme.
  • Provide insurance technical support for acquisition / disposal process.

Insurance Renewal Support

  • Assist with the collection of information in preparation for insurance renewals.
  • Monitor local insurance policies renewed worldwide, where required.
  • Support the drafting of renewal submissions, in conjunction with our insurance broker, for the wider insurance market.

Policy Support

  • Production and issue of certificates on request for all policies.
  • Responding to Insurers and brokers requests for information.
  •   Reporting and handling various claims.  

Invoicing:

  • Verifying and processing payment of insurance invoices and statements of account
  • Reconciliation of insurance premiums, fees, expenses and processing internal cost re-charges
  • Support the premium allocation process.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Skills and Knowledge

  • Educated to an ‘A’ level or equivalent standard.
  • Previous experience of working within the insurance industry is essential and knowledge of multinational insurance programmes desirable.  
  • Knowledge of insurable and risk management measures.
  • ACII qualified or working towards a Chartered Insurance Institute or equivalent Risk Management qualification.
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential and knowledge of Google Workplace is desirable.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical with good attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, proactive and able to work in a team.
