Support all aspects of risk operations including risk assessment planning, delivery, and reporting.
Facilitate risk workshops with senior stakeholders across the business, including emerging and climate related risks.
Support risk owners and BU leaders to articulate and assess risk (both threat and opportunity) and draw up appropriate management plans.
Work with the business to identify and assess existing controls and new action plans required to effectively manage the risks identified.
Build close working relationships with key partners/stakeholders to develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships to promote, embed and develop risk management and a risk aware culture.
Support the risk-leads to maintain their Risk Registers, Risk Action Plans and significant Risk Dashboards in each part of the business.
Be a key escalation point for risks that threaten or enhance the achievement of objectives.
Coordinate reports to appropriate Risk Meetings, attend and contribute to these meetings
Facilitate deep dives into significant risks when needed
Support Risk Committees and meetings
Support the development of appropriate risk management reporting for senior leadership.
Provide support, education, and training to the business to build risk awareness and to promote a positive and transparent risk culture within the organisation.
Support the Group Head of Enterprise Risk Management to review the Group’s risk and control environment to identify key risk indicators and set clear actions, where required to respond to those risks.
Assist the implementation and testing of Business Continuity Management
Support the implementation and training on the risk management system
Work closely with Internal Audit and other assurance functions to provide risk information to gain assurance on the quality of risk management controls.
Maintain knowledge of Group Risk Management standards and external requirements such as the ISO 31000, FRC regulations and guidance etc.
Ensure the divisional/functional risk registers are kept up to date and a live, dynamic risk tool.
