Undertake assurance design for controls testing to be performed across the business including areas such as operational procedures, IS, health and safety etc.
Lead workshops with risk and control owners to help them to better understand existing risks and controls and identify new ones.
Provide risk and assurance expertise to advise, support the development of risk and assurance across all areas of the business.
To undertake centralised risk and assurance reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee and Board
To advise on risk and assurance and facilitate insightful debates at a senior level and support the delivery of strategic assurance programmes
About You
You will possess the following skills, knowledge and qualifications:
Educated to degree level or equivalent and relevant professional qualifications
Member/affiliation of relevant professional bodies
Knowledge of risk and assurance activities, frameworks and processes (i.e. risk management and assurance control frameworks and processes)
Experience of working in risk and assurance (second or third line) in a complex organisation
Experience in operating and influencing at an executive and senior management level
