We are looking to offer a Risk Analyst the opportunity to join our expanding Group Assurance team based in Stevenage.
As a Risk Analyst you will be a part of our commitment to deliver what we promise for our clients, within the leading essential infrastructure services provider operating within the UK & Ireland.
You will be part of our established and expanding Group Assurance team, consisting of Risk Management, Business Continuity and Internal Audit professionals who provide independent insight, advice and assurance across all businesses in the Group.

You will support the Group Assurance function in embedding the enterprise risk management process, guiding, and supporting our businesses to accomplish their objectives.

As the Risk Analyst, you’ll get the opportunity to:
- Undertake a proactive role supporting risk owners in the completion of risk reviews, including guidance on raising risks, developing effective controls and associated action plans.
- Provide timely management information and ongoing monitoring of risk, including management reports and dashboards that provide insight to Group senior stakeholders.
- Data analysis and preparation of meeting packs and reports for governance meetings.
- Administration of our enterprise risk management system (Xactium) and provide training to users of the system.
- Use of Power BI to assist stakeholders to visualise management information.
What you’ll bring?
- Good understanding of governance and risk management principles and techniques.
- Exercises due professional care, shows attention to detail and has the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
- Can gather, analyse, interpret and report information to a range of audiences.
- Is highly organised, with the ability to independently prioritise and manage a range of deliverables to the required deadlines.
- Experience of working within a risk function or an infrastructure, utilities, construction or similarly complex environment would be an advantage.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with web-based tools such as Xactium and data visualisation tools such as PowerBI would be an advantage.
