Through the support and advocacy of our members, specifically those within the various faculties, societies, boards and committees we are able to ensure that our activities remain relevant and reflect the needs of our members whilst at the same time serving the demands of the public.

To become more involved, why not apply for a role on the CII’s Professional Standards Committee (PSC)?

The PSC is responsible for promoting and supporting professionalism including competence and ethical behaviour across CII membership in order to engender public trust.

The PSC is now looking to fill a vacancy for a member of the CII, with knowledge and experience of buying commercial insurance, dealing with commercial insurance companies/brokers and risk management.

The CII believes that Board and Committee members should come from all walks of life, reflecting society, to help them understand people's needs and make better decisions. Therefore, we encourage a wide and diverse range of individuals to apply for this position.

This role is voluntary and not remunerated although all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. The duration of appointment for this position shall be for a term of up to three years, which may be extended, subject to Board approval, for one further three-year term.
