WHAT WILL YOUR JOB PURPOSE BE?
GSK operates a centralized approach to the management of its key insurance and loss prevention programmes. The role has responsibility for the vendor management required for the local placement and premium collection all global programmes. The role will act as the local operating companies main point of contact for all the globally negotiated programmes. The role will also be responsible for the service delivery requirements as agreed with GSKs captive insurer.
WHAT WILL YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
The role has responsibility for the vendor management and engagement with the local operating companies required to ensure the local placement of globally negotiated programmes. This includes the oversight of the fronting insurers and global brokers to include:
- Define and agree the principles for premium allocation with the respective Liability and Supply Chain Managers.
- Gather the data and manage the development of the premium allocation models with vendors for review by the Liability and Supply Chain Manager and approval of the Director.
- Manage the communication and engagement required for the annual renewal of all global programmes with the local operating companies and functional finance teams.
- Define and implement the servicing and administration requirements with all vendors for the successful and compliant local placement of all globally negotiated programmes • Monitor and track the collection of premiums and act as the main point of contact to address local operating company queries.
- Under the guidance of the Director, the role will co-ordinate quarterly governance meetings required to manage the delivery of all global administration requirements to include policy issuance and premium collection. Regular review and tracking of vendor performance will be used by the Director to improve performance of vendors and tracking against vendor KPIs.
- Develop and manage a database / system across the team that can be used to track premium allocation across local operating companies and insurers. The database will also track the claims history across the respective programmes and local operating companies. The database / system will be used to report to local operating companies and manage insurer relationships.
- The role will support the Captive mananager with all the administration and reporting required for programmes in which the Captive participates.
- The role will also support the engagement with local operating companies and vendors with the launch of new insurance programmes as these are considered as part of the GSK insurance strategy.
For all programmes in which the Captive participates:
- Oversee the vendor servicing agreed with the Captive manager by the Director
- Attend Captive Board meetings to represent the interests of local operating companies as required by the Director
- Establish and manage the internal communications and oversight for the Captive programmes
For the US insurance programmes, the role will have responsibility for:
- Deliver annual renewals: Under the direction of the Director, develop a renewal/marketing strategy and define factors for a successful placement. Once agreed with the Director, the role will have responsibility for execution and co-ordination of the renewal to a successful conclusion. The role will complete an after action review and make recommendations for further technical and process improvements.
- US Claims Management: Support the Director to provide claims management expertise and co-ordinate with GSK Legal and external legal and external administrators/brokers the reporting and settlement of liability claims. As appropriate, the role will develop a claims strategy under the direction of the Director and then be responsible for execution of the strategy with co-ordination across both internal and external stakeholders.
- Service Provider Management: The role will provide oversight and management of the US broker, claims administrator and insurer relationships. The role will co-ordinate quarterly governance meetings and manage the delivery of all administration requirements to include policy issuance, premium collection, claims handling and reporting against agreed KPIs.
- Business Engagement: The role will support the Director with business engagements required with HR, fleet services, Finance and GSK legal. This will include but loss prevention reporting, claims reserving and tracking of broker service levels.
