WHAT WILL YOU DELIVER?
- Provide the EQUANS UK business development, commercial, financial and legal teams with timely, sound and pragmatic technical advice in relation to insurance matters, including advice on:
- the scope of existing insurance cover;
- insurance cover for tenders in which EQUANS UK participates; and
- insurance and indemnity clauses in contracts.
- Assist the Head of Insurance with executing the insurance strategy for all EQUANS UK’s activities and assets, including when insured through ENGIE Group policies;
- Assist with the preparation of RFP’s for insurance brokers and advisors on projects or programs;
- Work with business colleagues and brokers to gather and review renewal information for EQUANS UK’s various policies;
- Manage large claims and provide support to the Insurance and Risk Officer where needed on smaller claims;
- Ensure that premiums are allocated and paid in accordance with the financial management processes and within prescribed timeframes;
- Provide training to the EQUANS UK teams when needed; and
- Assist the Head of Insurance to manage the insurance cost budget.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- In depth technical knowledge of insurance;
- Hold or working towards Dip CII Qualification from the Chartered Institute of Insurance or equivalent from another insurance or risk association or body would be an advantage
- Managing first party Damages and third-party Liability claims;
- Thorough knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules & MOJ Portal procedures;
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook;
