About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our high-performing Corporate Insurance Team based in Bristol. In this role you will have responsibility for ensuring BT's motor fleet's insurance programme and accident and claims management processes operate at optimal levels. 

You will ensure BT is able to recover in full when it suffers a loss and you will manage operational risk to help reduce claims. You will also assist various stakeholders across the business to understand associated insurable risk.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for delivering and shaping the motor insurance programmes to deliver the Team's strategy and goals
• Manage the motor claims management process including any self-insured retention
• Analyse the insurance data to identify what good looks like in terms of loss rates and assist BT to become the best in class by identifying risk management strategies
• Engage with various stakeholders to appreciate all material activities and future plans which could impact the motor insurance cover
• Manage relationships with brokers, insurers and other service providers to assist delivery
• Manage budget and accruals in accordance with overall strategy
• Work with the wider Insurance Team on the groups portfolio of insurance and share knowledge to input into the overall strategy
• Place ad hoc insurance coverages on new project or exposures as and when required

 Skills & experience

• Experience handling general and motor insurance within a corporate organisation
• Technical insurance and claims handling skills with an understanding of the wider insurance market
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to draw on data and analytical techniques to illustrate your point and communicate this to business audiences 
• Experience in the insurance market either with a broker or insurer - Preferred
• Experience in the Telco/Tech/Media Sectors - Preferred
