The City of London Corporation is a unique organisation serving the City (the heart of the UK’s financial and business sector), London and the Nation. It is both an ancient municipality and a modern local authority, providing a diverse range of services including the Barbican Centre, the City of London Police, large tracks of green belt and other privately financed services. It holds substantial property portfolios, both commercial and operational, which include many historic treasures such as Tower Bridge.

As part of this team you would be primarily responsible for providing a comprehensive and professional day to day insurance service to sustain and enhance the financial strength of the City of London Corporation through the effective and efficient management of the insurance programme and claims handling, and the promotion of risk management.

What do you need to be successful?

Ideally you will:

• hold or be part-qualified to ACII accreditation, or have a relevant qualification and significant experience
• have a strong background in complex claims handling
• be able to provide clear professional advice on all insurance matters.

You should be professional, highly motivated to develop your skills and knowledge, customer service driven and with a flexible approach to your work.
