A little context

The Insurable Risk function is responsible for devising and implementing Risk Financing programmes, Insurable Risk Management and Claims Management.

The Insurable Risk Executive role is diverse, challenging and rewarding! 

It includes:

  • Ensuring the efficient collation and analysis of data for the annual insurance renewal, working as part of a team to produce the renewal presentation for our Broker and the Market and delivering the annual premium apportionments
  • Supporting the Insurable Risk Manager with the analysis of renewal terms and selection of WBA’s key insurance partners
  • Leading on the certification process
  • Collation and analysis of claims data and presentation of reports
  • Responding to varied queries from global Businesses concerning the risk financing programme
  • Reviewing insurance and indemnity clauses in a range of contracts and advising Businesses on the optimum position
  • Providing various advice to Businesses on all Insurable Risk matters and influencing proactive risk management.

What we’ll need from you

The successful candidate should have:

  • Good experience of the insurance Market and insurable risk management best practice, gained while working for an Insurer, Broker or as part of an in-house Insurable Risk department
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent office software skills, especially Excel
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to operate successfully within a high performing multi-national team across the Business
  • The ability to develop strong working relationships and adapt to different culture.
  • A CII Certificate or Diploma or progress towards is preferred. A legal degree or related experience would be helpful.

This role will suit a person with the ability to prioritise and organise workload while continuing to work effectively under pressure.

The position requires a self-motivated dynamic individual, with the ability and desire to work proactively.
