The 6th largest airport in the world, the largest in the UK and one of the leading global airports is looking for an experienced Head of Insurance. The role is to evaluate, implement and maintain the optimal risk financing/insurance programme to protect the assets and liabilities of airport and rail activities. This will include providing assurance to the board as to the quality, appropriateness and integrity insurance arrangements and include responsibility for settlement of all insurance claims.  If that is not enough of a challenge, Heathrow is embarking on expansion to include a 3rd runway with £14bn of capital expenditure planned over the next few years.
