TEAM

The Compliance Monitoring Function is a multi-disciplinary team of professionals responsible for developing and implementing the Compliance Monitoring strategy to achieve an integrated approach to compliance monitoring across the entire easyJet entity, including Group Operation Services (GOS) and easyJet Certificated Organisations in the UK, Austria and Switzerland.

The Compliance Monitoring strategy adopts a risk-based approach, expanding the compliance monitoring team's remit beyond compliance monitoring of the applicable aviation regulatory requirements to include supporting security (EC300/2008) and Health and Safety (EC89/391) compliance.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Perform assigned Compliance Monitoring activities (i.e. audits, inspections & assessments) in support of our risk based Integrated Compliance Monitoring Programme
  • Ensure all assigned Compliance Monitoring activities are effectively planned, conducted and completed within agreed timescales
  • Ensure all assigned Compliance Monitoring activities are accurately documented and recorded in accordance with documented procedures and any associated regulatory requirements
  • Support and educate key stakeholders in completion of compliance finding responses, including effective root cause analysis
  • Proactively research and collect intelligence to support and contribute towards Compliance Risk Assessments
  • Collaborate with the wider Safety, Security and Compliance team to support effective delivery of our risk based Compliance Monitoring Programme
  • Contribute to the development of Training material for Compliance monitoring processes and procedures  
  • Support and contribute to the development of our Safety, Security and Compliance strategic objectives  and associated Integrated Management System
  • Maintain competency by continually updating knowledge of regulatory framework and the desire to undertake continuous self-development in order to be a respected and knowledgeable team member
  • Act as team focal point for any assigned projects, workstreams or processes.
  • Perform any assigned administrative tasks in support of Compliance Monitoring activities

Requirements of the Role 

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Experience and knowledge in any number of these areas is essential: Part M/CAMO, ATO, Air Ops, Risk and Safety Management, Environment and Health & Safety in aviation.
  • Experience in Engineering and Maintenance is desirable.
  • A background in Compliance, Quality Control, Assurance
  • Experience as an Auditor; ISO 9001 standard training or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Compliance Monitoring, Safety Management systems and Integrated Management Systems.
  • Have the necessary interpersonal skills to communicate with people from different cultures and at all levels, from front line personnel to AOC Accountable Managers.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret detailed regulatory information.
  • Ability to travel across the network to conduct audit and Compliance Monitoring activities.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and internet browsers and communication.
  • Experience within an aviation operations compliance monitoring management environment (desirable).
  • EASA CAMO/Ops training through recognised EASA/JAAT/CAA courses or equivalent (desirable).

HOURS OF WORK
