A structured approach to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) & the requirements of ISO 31000

Airmic has published a guide that provides a structured approach to enterprise risk management (ERM) and the requirements of the international risk management standard, ISO 31000.  The guide provides a commentary on risk and risk management, together with a brief overview of ISO 31000.  It also offers guidance on the design and implementation of an ERM initiative.  Appendix A to the guide sets out a checklist of risk management actions to ensure that a comprehensive ERM structure has been introduced.  Appendix B provides a step by step summary of the actions necessary to implement ERM.
