An Airmic Guide for Risk Managers and Insurance Buyers
The Contract Certainty guide published by Airmic provides useful information for risk managers on this important insurance market initiative.  Insurers and brokers now focus more clearly on ensuring that policy wordings are agreed and issued before inception in at least 85% of cases.  This is the target that was set by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) for the end of 2006.  Airmic believes that risk managers must play their part by being proactive and taking control of the insurance renewal process.
