Annual Lecture

Airmic Annual Lecture, 27th September, 2011

This years annual lecture was another great success, building on the legacy of previous Airmic lectures and reinforcing it's reputation as an industry must event.

Opportunities to network and meet with colleagues through out the Risk Management sector were had after the lecture at  the Lloyd's building over drinks and canapes.

2011 saw the Rt Hon Lord Paddy Ashdown take to the stage at the Willis building and delivery a incitefull lecture to an engaged audience on the current state of world Politics and Power and there effects both now and in the future of our business.

Paddy Ashdown is one of Britain's most respected politicians and elder statesmen. From his seat in the Lords he acts as mentor to Nick Clegg and is a powerful supporter of the Coalition.  He will talk to members about global security including the implications of the Arab Spring, Afghanistan, the Middle East peace process, Iran and the effectiveness of NATO and the UN. He will also be available to answer members' questions on absolutely anything else!
